Be a part of the historical record. This is an open community project for the friends of David Peel to tell their stories and contribute to the historical record of the Lower East Side, Greenwich Village, and the East Village of New York City. Back in April of 2018, a group of David’s friends discussed the possibility of creating a website where friends can tell stories, episodes, and the history that occurred around the central figure of David Peel. This is that website – created for the people.

Please attach pictures if you can (pictured stories will definitely get priority but any good story will do) and, if possible, give the year your story takes place. Eventually, the stories will be indexed by year and there will be a continuous narrative with cross references linked together. Other memorabilia are welcome as well. Submit now on the form below:
